Home in my mind's mire, all alchemy allied to lies
Dead and deaf to silence, eyes greeted by egregious lights
Nightmares bearing niceties, that blight and believe in bleeding
Sunny seasons seized by the hateful hand of believing
Normalcy knocking, infancy infesting in the night
Time a traitor to my ties, nastiness alas served neat
Under earth I lie, my soul beneath sod, suffocating
Effigy an effort, I'm left bereft of supplication
