The whole world is watching;
leering, lamenting.
consenting in giggles that shame shyly to sleep.
Children that longed to live as children do;
cherubs fed on lies.
despising through devils' indignant relations.
(sure of nought but sin.)
Dreams come as aliens;
foreign, fleeting.
entreating a condition that cares not to heed nor hear.
